Outreach & Care Ministries

St Paul has specific ministries that reach out to others who need help within own congregational family, our communities, and our world.

Some of these ministries include: In the Congregation: Meals for our Sick and hospitalized members "Helping Hands" to aid our unemployed members Work days at disabled member homes In the Community: Food drive & volunteering at God's Food Pantry, Plano & LINC / New Hope Semi-Annual Blood Drives with Carter Blood Center Love Fund - Food or Gas Coupons for destitute Support of the Nelson Center (children's residential treatment center run by Lutheran Social Services ) Hosting birthday party's Angel tree and Christmas day visits Support of Real Options for Women "Lifewalk" Crisis Pregnancy Center Nursing Home Visitations In the World: Support of a child in India through Compassion International Support three Burmese orphanages with clothing and other donations Plan Mission trips from year to year Our local chapter of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League provides health, sewing, and school kits to needy internationally via Lutheran World Relief Care packages to soldiers of member family and friends.
